And 5 Little Things

Focused & Scattered: That’s me in 2023! A few things happened when the year rolled over. One of them involved a five-month sinus infection. –And the clouds parted and there was sun and shiny things. Wowzers, my energy soared. I started singing randomly around the house again, much to everyone else's chagrin. 😉

With that energy came a push to get all the stuff done I’d either pushed off or just couldn't do. Sun up to sun down. It’s been really wonderful. I took the day off yesterday to do a little planning. That’s when it hit me. I’m hyper focused but extremely scattered. The thing is, I’m okay with that (for now). There’s a lot I want to accomplish this year but I need to do catch up first, which leads to the scattered part.

Have you ever gone through a phase like that?

We all have big things we want to and need to accomplish. It’s equally important to enjoy the small things.

Without further ado,

Five Little Things I’m Looking Forward To:

  1. Working in the garden this spring – What will come back? What new things will I try to grow? Pumpkins for sure and tomatoes, and I love snapdragons.

  2. Building/crafting a fairy pot/garden.

  3. Barbecuing. This will be the first year I’ve ever been able to do that.

  4. Sitting on the patio on a nice day and just writing.

  5. Finishing my acrylic painting experiment.

What little things are you looking forward to?

I wish I could grow stuff and have a little garden, but my attempt last year didn't end well and the only plant that somehow is still alive is a basil plant and I'm getting a bit annoyed that I have to keep looking after it. ^^;;
