It’s 2023! I’ll be honest, this is the first year in a long time I stayed up to greet the new year. Then I promptly fell asleep. 😁 I woke up ready to take on the Year of Getting 💩 Done. There’s some sun outside today too.
This is also my first newsletter with my new host Substack. Let me know what you think. How does it look?
I’m so happy to have you with me here. So happy, that I’m giving you a copy of the rebranded and republished:
A Writer’s Guide to Color
The language of color, here and there, then and now.
Writing with color helps paint the scene. Using the specific color shade can add depth and meaning. This writer’s guide will help authors choose the perfect color with the color thesaurus. Writers can intrigue readers with historically accurate colors and terminology, pulling from superstitions, phrases, and symbolism from around the world.
➽ Due to the size (which is due to the color images), epubs are too large for StoryOrigin downloads. The best way to get it to you is as a pdf through Google Docs.
If you’re new, last year (around this time) I published The Life and Times of Color. Cool, awesome title but yeah, too clever for my own good. I changed the title and cover to better tell people what the book is about.
I’m also announcing that A Writer’s Guide to Crystals & Gemstones is now available for ebook pre-order on: Kindle | Apple | Nook | Kobo | More
Woohoo! Exciting. I should have the content finalized by next week at which time I’ll create the paperback version.
Second email coming later today from Google Docs for your free copy of the book.
Once you get the email, follow the link. There should be a download button in the upper right area. Let me know if you have any issues or don’t receive the email.
And if you like it, reviews are appreciated! And shout outs are super cool too.
Happy New Year!
Congrats on rebranding and republishing your book!
Substack looks like a great platform.
