I've been debating that same question about my blog and my newsletter. My answer so far is keeping them both, but I don't know if that's sustainable in the long run.
You might think about putting "Also by the author" at the end as well with "If you enjoyed reading XXX, you might also enjoy other books by this author." I've been trying to get my publisher to do thid for me. It's an inexpensive way to market...IMHO
